Get Red Sox Tickets And Watch Mlb Action Live!
By Al Terry
Fans want Red Sox tickets, come what may. Red Sox, a professional baseball team based in Boston, Massachusetts are currently the reigning World Champions. The "Red Sox" nicknamed the BoSox are one of the American League's eight charter franchises.

The name ‘Red Sox’ refers to the red hose in the team uniform. Their club was founded in Boston in 1901. A member of the Major League and of the American League, the Fenway Park has been the team’s ballpark since 1912.

Early History

The Red Sox have an interesting history. Pittsburgh Pirates were their arch rivals in their first World Series in early 1990s. By 1918, the Red Sox won its fifth World Series. Baby Ruth was like a magnet for baseball lovers who bought Red Sox tickets to watch him play. However, in January 2, 1920, after Babe Ruth was sold to the rival New York Yankees, the "Greatest Rivalry on Earth" began. More sales of players like Schang, Harry Harper, Mike McNally Everett Scott, and Bullet Joe Bush followed leading to Red Sox’s poor show in the 1920s and 1930s. From 1925 to 1932, the only bright spot of the team was Earl Webb.

Red Sox, Tom Yawkey And Star Players

It was only after 1933 that the Red Sox saw a change in their bad fortune. Tom Yawkey bought the Red Sox and it was his for the next 70 years. Yawkey brought in Williams, one of the greatest hitters of all time. With Williams, the Red Sox reached the 1946 World Series.

The 1950s was a period of distress for the Red Sox. A decade later, year 1967 gave a fresh lease of
